What Is SHFL Lottery?
The SHFL Lottery is Shuffle's weekly crypto lottery: pick 5 main numbers from 1-74 plus a Powerball from 1-18, and if your numbers are selected in the Friday draw, you win a share of a USDC prize pool. It's built around the SHFL token - staking SHFL enters you into every weekly draw automatically - but you don't need to hold SHFL to play, since single-draw tickets can be bought with any deposit currency.

How Does The SHFL Lottery Work?
Every ticket is a set of 5 main numbers and 1 Powerball number. Each Friday, Shuffle draws the winning combination live, and tickets are paid out in USDC based on how many numbers they match - the more of your numbers that come up, the larger your share of the prize pool.
Because it's a drawn lottery, outcomes are entirely chance-based. No number pattern or picking strategy changes your odds, and matching all five main numbers plus the Powerball is a genuinely long shot - the full odds for every prize bracket are laid out in our guide on how to play the SHFL Lottery, along with a step-by-step walkthrough of buying tickets and checking results.
What Are The Three Ways To Enter The Lottery?
1) Staked tickets
Staking SHFL is the signature way to play. Every 50 SHFL you stake creates one Staked Ticket, and that ticket is entered into the current draw and every future draw automatically, for as long as your SHFL stays staked. Staked Ticket numbers are randomly generated - you don't pick them - and your staked SHFL remains yours: unstake whenever you like, and your tokens are returned after the current draw concludes. While staked, those tokens can't be used elsewhere on the platform.
If you don't hold SHFL yet, you can buy SHFL on Shuffle directly or convert another crypto in a few clicks.
2) Single tickets
A Single Ticket enters the current draw only. You choose all six numbers yourself - 5 main numbers plus the Powerball - or use autofill. Single Tickets can be purchased with any deposit currency, so you can play with BTC, ETH, USDT, or whatever you hold, no SHFL required. Note that Single and Powerplay tickets are non-refundable once purchased.
3) Powerplay tickets
The third way to enter is via a Powerplay Ticket. This is the pricier single draw entry option that comes with a guaranteed Powerball. You pick your 5 main numbers and the Powerball is covered, giving the ticket an increased chance of winning compared to a standard entry.
How Does The SHFL Lottery Fit Into The SHFL Token?
The lottery is one of the core utilities of the SHFL token: it turns staked SHFL into perpetual lottery entries, which means holding and staking the token comes with a recurring shot at USDC prizes rather than sitting idle.
That staking model has made this one of the largest crypto lotteries running, with weekly prize pools that have exceeded $2 million. Prizes being paid in USDC also keeps the reward side simple — what you win isn't exposed to token price swings between the draw and your balance. The mechanics behind it all are documented in full in the SHFL Lottery tokenomics, and for a breakdown of how the token itself works, see our guide, SHFL Token Explained.
Is The SHFL Lottery Worth Playing?
That depends on what you want from it. As a staker, entries are a recurring perk of holding SHFL - your tokens stay yours, and every Friday you're in the draw without doing anything. As a single-ticket player, it works like any lottery: cheap entries, long odds on the top prizes, and the fun is in the draw itself. Either way, treat it as entertainment rather than a way to make money - the odds structure of any lottery means most tickets don't win, and no outcome is ever guaranteed. Full entry conditions are in the official lottery rules.
SHFL Lottery FAQs
What is the SHFL Lottery on Shuffle?
The SHFL Lottery is Shuffle's weekly draw-based lottery. Players pick 5 main numbers from 1-74 and a Powerball from 1-18, and winning tickets are paid in USDC. Entries come from staking SHFL or buying single-draw tickets, and the draw takes place every Friday.
Do I need SHFL to join, or can I use other crypto?
You don't need SHFL. Staked Tickets require staking SHFL, but Single and Powerplay tickets can be purchased with any deposit currency supported on Shuffle.
Is the SHFL Lottery free to play?
Staked entries don't cost anything beyond the SHFL you stake - the tokens remain yours and are returned when you unstake. Single and Powerplay tickets are paid, single-draw purchases and are non-refundable.
Can I stop participating after I start?
Yes. Withdraw your Staked Tickets at any time and your SHFL is unstaked and returned to your balance after the current draw concludes. Withdrawn tickets leave the current draw immediately and aren't entered into future ones.
The SHFL Lottery is a game of chance - outcomes are random and winning is never guaranteed. Play for fun, use Shuffle's loss and wager limits if you want to keep your play in check, and take a break if it stops being enjoyable. 18+.
